Ode to Cormac

This was another ditty for a fortieth – sung to the tune of Ireland’s Call

Ode to Cormac

Come the day and come the hour

Come the power and the glory

We have come to answer a powerful call

From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Cormac, Cormac

Forever standing tall

Older, he’s a bit older

But wiser, not at all

From rich red wine to the Atkins Diet

From Cork to Jersey to Dubai

From Munster Rugby to

Patricia the stripper

He’d bate the 4 proud provinces of Ireland

Cormac, Cormac

Forever standing tall

Older, he’s a bit older

But wiser, not at all

Heart of gold

And liver of iron

Vowing never to be broken

He will party until he can party no more

Round the four proud provinces of Ireland

Cormac, Cormac

Forever standing tall

Older, he’s a bit older

But wiser, not at all

Be on the look out …

“Make someone’s day” is a great recommendation. I read it in the book Fish written by Steven Lundin. He says it doesn’t have to be a life changing gesture. For some people at some times the phrase ‘How are you’ could change their life or make their day if used
