Bio

Martin is married to Mary with two children; Jenny and Peter. He would describe himself as an ‘advanced beginner’ at skiing, an ‘expert hacker’ at golf, a ‘chancer’ at tennis and a slow jogger or maybe just a very fast walker…. all activities that he enjoys and would like to improve – maybe someday.

His interest in sports extends to avid attendance at the RDS and Aviva Stadiums, for the rugby, Croke Park for the Gaelic Football and Hurling, (he even played there once in a Colleges match) and anywhere else the merest match might be held.

Other skills include majestic handling of a paint roller, he’s an artist with a hammer, creative with a cordless drill and as for the lawn mower… One proud boast he has no qualms in sharing is his Barbequing prowess …. those satays are “world famous” … in Moate.
